The RPC offers the following services to clients wihout charge: 

“Window to the Womb” MEDICAL CLINIC
     The Rockville Pregnancy Center converted to a medical clinic in January 1999 to offer free sonograms to pregnant women who are abortion-minded, or undecided about carrying to term.  Our hope was that once a woman has an opportunity to see her baby moving inside the womb and get all pertinent information on her options, she will choose life for her unborn child.  This “Window to the Womb” ultrasound program has seen the vast majority of our abortion-vulnerable women choose life for their babies while watching their babies moving and hearing their baby’s heartbeat. 
 

STD TESTING & TREATMENT; PAP SMEAR TESTING
     A medical team was hired to expand the free medical services for women to include testing and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases (STD).  We have a medical team on staff and are one of a few pregnancy centers in MD to offer medical services. Pap testing for cervical cancer is also offered.


 
INFORMED WOMEN'S PROGRAM- Pregnancy Testing and Counseling  
     Free pregnancy tests are given and icounseling on options is explained.  Sonograms may be given if the client is undecided about continuing her pregnancy. Referrals for prenatal care, financial and medical assistance, and other community resources are given. 

 
TEEN EMPOWERMENT ABSTINENCE PROGRAM    
     We promote chastity as the most effective and positive lifestyle for single individuals.  Many of our single clients test negative for pregnancy and express relief.  We believe that a pregnancy is not the root problem, but a symptom of a lifestyle that is outside of God’s will, thus carrying with it destructive consequences.  We lovingly encourage them to view their life’s goals in light of their sexual behavior and its consequences.  

BABY BOUTIQUE 
     Donations of a wide assortment of gently-used baby clothing are made available for anyone having a need. Baby accessories, formula and diapers are also available.  Approximately 40% of our clients use this service and 500 families benefit each year through this program.
 

POST ABORTION RECOVERY GROUPS 
     We offer compassionate counseling to those women and men who are suffering emotionally from a past abortion.  Our goal is that they find healing and restoration through our Lord. 
 

PRENATAL CARE CLASSES:
     HEALTHY MOMS, HEALTHY BABIES is for first-time parents who need to know about pregnancy and babies.
